Jett Galindo
Soprano
Jett is also an accomplished lyric soprano who specializes in contemporary acapella and choral ensemble music.
Her recent credits include background vocals for the upcoming EP of pop rock band Basic Vacation, produced by Grammy winner David Kahne and vocal coaching work for artists Sam London and Hypnotiq Girls in Avatar Studios.
As a former member of the award-winning Ateneo Chamber Singers (ACS) & Ateneo College Glee Club (ACGC), Jett has toured & performed in various countries spanning across Europe (Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, & Netherlands), Asia and the Americas. She has performed as a soloist in international choral festivals such as the prestigious biennial “Polyfollia” of France and “Three / Tatlo” in Singapore, Japan and the Philippines. While representing the Philippines in international choral competitions, her choirs have reaped awards such as First Prize in the Polyphony Category at the 38th Tolosa Festival in Spain (ACS), and First Prize at the 2006 Internationaler Chorwettbewerb in Milterberg, Germany (ACGC), to name a few.
With her sensitivity to intonation and vocal performance, Jett has continued on to sing for various Philippine film scores and TV specials such as Mulawin: The Movie, Batanes, and Maging Akin Muli, among others. She has also lent her voice to various albums produced by the Jesuit Music Ministry.
Moving to the US in 2009, she served as the choral conductor of the Filipino choir for the “Boston Pinoy” masses held at MIT and Boston College. And while in NYC from 2012 to 2013, she was a constant presence in the local music circuit, performing in various concerts as a soprano soloist and choral singer.
